Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Goddess Mata Adi Shakti also known as Chandi/Durga. The words ""maa" and "mata" are commonly used in India for "mother", and thus are often used in connection with Vaishno Devi.

On arrival at Jammu airport or railway station, upon arrival you will be met by our representative and drive to Katra. Overnight at the hotel in Katra.(D)

This morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. To visit this temple one has to hire pony or travel by foot. From Katra the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 12 kms. After visiting the temple we return back to Katra the same day. Overnight at the hotel in Katra.(B&D)

This morning you will be transferred to Jammu airport for your flight back home or your next destination.(B)
