Day by day

1. Day 1
   Bangalore – Wayanad | Banasura Sagar Dam & Pookode Lake

   Start early from Bangalore at around 06:00 AM and proceed towards Wayanad via Mysore and Gundlupet, enjoying the scenic countryside and forest landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Wayanad, visit the magnificent Banasura Sagar Dam , one of India's largest earthen dams, where you can enjoy the beautiful reservoir views and optional boating activities. Later, proceed to Pookode Lake , a serene freshwater lake surrounded by lush forests, where you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride amidst nature. Check in to your hotel and relax. 2. Day 2
   Wayanad Sightseeing | Edakkal Caves & Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary

   After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Wayanad. Visit the fascinating Edakkal Caves , famous for their prehistoric rock engravings and requiring a scenic uphill hike to reach the caves. Continue to the Wayanad Heritage Museum at Ambalavayal , where you can discover ancient artefacts, tribal heritage and archaeological treasures of the region. In the evening, proceed to Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary for an optional jeep safari, where you may encounter wild elephants, deer, gaur and various species of birds, subject to forest conditions and availability. 3. Day 3
   Wayanad – Kozhikode | Thamarassery Churam & Kozhikode Beach

   After breakfast, check out and drive towards Kozhikode through the spectacular Thamarassery Churam , a scenic mountain pass known for its winding hairpin bends and breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. Stop at Lakkidi View Point to admire the panoramic valley scenery. Continue to Kozhikode and check in to your hotel. Later, visit the famous Kozhikode Beach and enjoy a relaxing coastal evening. In the evening, explore SM Street (Sweet Meat Street) , one of Kozhikode's popular shopping and food streets, and taste local specialities such as Kozhikode halwa and banana chips. 4. Day 4
   Kozhikode Heritage & Coastal Exploration

   After breakfast, explore the cultural and coastal heritage of Kozhikode. Visit Beypore , a historic port town famous for its traditional wooden Uru boat-building craftsmanship. Continue to the historic Thali Temple , known for its traditional Kerala architecture and spiritual significance. Later proceed to Kappad Beach , the historic coastline associated with Vasco da Gama's arrival in India in 1498. Spend some peaceful time by the Arabian Sea before returning to Kozhikode. Overnight stay in Kozhikode.

5. Day 5
   Kozhikode – Bangalore | Return Journey

   After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time for a traditional Malabar breakfast and pick up local spices, snacks and souvenirs before checking out. Begin your return journey to Bangalore through the scenic Wayanad–Mysore route , passing through the lush landscapes of the Western Ghats and Gundlupet.
