- Day 1Bangalore – Wayanad | Scenic Drive & Edakkal Caves
Begin your journey with a morning pickup from your Bangalore hotel, Kempegowda International Airport, or Bangalore City Railway Station and drive towards the enchanting hills of Wayanad, approximately 280–300 km away. Enjoy the scenic journey through Mysore, Gundlupet and the lush landscapes of the Western Ghats. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and refresh. Later, proceed to the fascinating Edakkal Caves , located on Ambukuthi Hill and famous for their prehistoric rock engravings and ancient inscriptions. The visit involves an uphill trek of approximately 1 km one way, rewarding you with spectacular views from the hilltop. Later, experience a Spice Plantation Tour , where you can discover Kerala's famous pepper, cardamom, cloves, ginger, coffee and other aromatic spices. Return to the hotel and relax amidst the peaceful Wayanad surroundings. Overnight stay in Wayanad.
- Day 2Wayanad – Kuruva Island & Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast, proceed to Kuruva Island (Kuruvadweep) , a beautiful group of river islands spread across the Kabini River and surrounded by lush greenery, bamboo groves and natural forests. Enjoy a peaceful nature walk and soft trekking experience while exploring the unique ecosystem of the island. Later, return for lunch and some leisure time. In the afternoon, proceed to Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary for an exciting jeep safari , where you may spot wild elephants, deer, gaur, wild boar and various species of birds, subject to wildlife movement and forest conditions. The safari offers an excellent opportunity to experience Wayanad's rich natural beauty and wildlife. Return to the hotel after the safari. Overnight stay in Wayanad.
- Day 3Wayanad – Banasura Sagar Dam – Pookode Lake – Lakkidi – Bangalore
After breakfast, check out and begin your final day of sightseeing with a visit to the spectacular Banasura Sagar Dam , one of India's largest earthen dams, surrounded by magnificent green mountains and scenic reservoir views. Optional boating can be enjoyed subject to availability. Continue to Pookode Lake , a beautiful natural freshwater lake nestled amidst forests and hills, where you can enjoy a relaxing boat ride or spend some peaceful time by the lake. Later, visit the historic Chain Tree at Lakkidi , followed by Lakkidi View Point , offering breathtaking panoramic views of the winding Thamarassery Ghat roads and the lush valleys of Wayanad.
